Are We on Track for Net Zero by 2050?
Governments and intergovernmental coalitions are failing to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at the pace required. Many also fail to keep their climate information up to date or adequately inform the public. One example is the United Nations page below, which presents outdated data and assumptions:
For a livable climate: Net-zero commitments must be backed by credible action (United Nations)

Current Trajectory
At current levels of human-caused greenhouse gas emissions, we will not reach net zero. If emissions continue on their present trajectory, the world will enter 2°C warming territory around 2050.
